Retail Innovation Conference & Expo Announces Return to Chicago for June 2023
Leading retail event to feature insightful programming centered on the theme of “What’s Next in Connected Commerce”
Chicago, IL (April 4, 2023) – The Retail Innovation Conference & Expo (#RICE23), the annual retail industry conference, today announced its official return to McCormick Place in Chicago, IL for its 2023 event. Spearheaded by the retail community and digital media company, Retail TouchPoints, the conference will take place from June 13th – 15th to bring industry leaders and innovators together for a variety of exciting panels, activations, and presentations.
Centered on the overarching conversation of “What’s Next in Connected Commerce,” this year’s conference will feature a new immersive experience to connect leaders with the latest trends and technologies that are driving the industry’s next wave of disruption. From rising start-ups to trailblazing Tier 1 retailers, the conference will bring the entire retail ecosystem together for valuable collaboration, learning, and networking opportunities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the latest developments in e-commerce, including the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and augmented reality to enhance the customer experience.

RICE will feature three tailored events with seven tracks designed to meet the needs of different business functions including: Retail Innovation Summit (RIS), IRCE and Design:Retail (DRCE). New to the event this year, All-Access pass registrants will have an opportunity to attend the D2 Summit:Retail Edition, a day-long co-located conference, taking place June 13, dedicated to all things Web3 in retail, including NFTs, gaming and other immersive experiences in the metaverse. With many industry pundits pondering the long-term value of the metaverse, this series of sessions will be designed to provide specific examples and tactical takeaways that showcase how Web3 can be integrated into cohesive omnichannel strategies.
