40 Under 40 Spotlight: Callie Canfield Worthington, Chief Brand Officer, Hanna Andersson 

Retail TouchPoints’ 40 Under 40 Awards aren’t just a powerful vehicle to spotlight emerging executives. They have become a core program that helps us elevate retail executives who are making a tangible impact on their business and the industry at large.
 
One such executive is Callie Canfield Worthington, former Chief Brand Officer of Hanna Andersson, and one of our 2023 winners. Callie has built her career in the retail industry working for iconic apparel brands, including Anthropologie Group, David’s Bridal and Athleta. Her specialty? Brand and communications.  

Prior to joining Hanna Andersson in 2022, she was Head of Brand Marketing and Public Relations for Anthropologie Group, where she led and accelerated a powerful marketing strategy driving awareness nationally and introducing the brand to the next generation of consumers.  
 
During her time at David’s Bridal, Callie relaunched the brand’s social channels to generate interest with a younger demographic. She was also part of the original marketing team for Athleta, which has been lauded for its dedication to authentic and relevant brand marketing. 
 
Now, in her role at Hanna Andersson, Callie is helping amplify the brand’s incredible mission of creating transparent and high-quality products for families. She and her team are using a combination of owned, earned and paid channels to create dynamic content and powerful communities of parents that have shared values. In a recent Retail Remix interview, Callie shared incredible insights on the role that social media plays in this community building, and how the brand has been able to stand out and cultivate loyalty in an incredibly competitive (and noisy) landscape.  
 
Callie also made an incredible connection between her work in engaging customers and engaging employees. In fact, she noted that the one thing she loves most about the Hanna Andersson brand is the incredible people who also live by the company’s values every day.  
 
Callie has made an incredible impact on bringing the Hanna Andersson brand to life and we are honored to have her as part of our 40 Under 40 Class of 2023!
