Strategic Account Manager
Sean has a diverse background across multiple industries, including retail, cultural attractions, event services, and architecture + design. He got his start at Amethyst Galleries in Dayton, Ohio merchandising and buying for two stores that sold rocks, minerals, fossils, and jewelry. After moving to Atlanta, he helped open multiple stores, took over troubled stores, and managed a prototype store in Midtown designed by Miller Zell which let his merchandising passion flourish while introducing him to the process of store design and concept refinement. At the Atlanta History Center, he diversified his career in a progression of various roles in Sales, Retail, Events, and Operations. During the 18-year tenure he was a problem solver and fixer tasked with increasing aesthetics, traffic and sales in the gift shop, café, and private event rental venues. In 2017 Sean headed to Chicago where he transformed Ignite Glass Studios by creating space for a gift shop within the gallery space of this glassblowing studio and event venue. Next, he updated the website to allow for easy e-commerce, scheduling and purchasing glassblowing classes and event space. Before the pandemic, at CSI DMC, an event planning company, he sold memorable, custom, and scalable experiences which included the first private events at the Under Armour flagship store & Starbucks Reserve Roastery on the Magnificent Mile. Most recently, Sean became part of the team at Moss, a fabricator for retail and interior environments. Moss clients include Levi’s, Sephora, American Girl, AT&T, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sketchers, and Kohl’s.
