I’ve spent 30+ years in consumer products for well-known publicly-traded and PE-owned companies like Quaker Oats, PepsiCo and Reynolds Consumer Products. I built my foundational skills in Sales, Business Development and Insights working on iconic brands like Quaker Oatmeal, Cap’n Crunch, Gatorade, Frito Lay and Tropicana. I migrated into multi-functional leadership positions over the past 15+ years, leading Category Insights, Brand Marketing, Product Innovation, Consumer Insights, Trade & Shopper Marketing, Trade Analytics and Revenue Management. When people have asked “why would you do that?” For me, the answer is simple…I thrive on the challenge! Get outside your comfort zone. Learn new skills. Stay relevant in your career. There is great personal satisfaction in understanding how to lead teams, review a P&L, evaluate results, improve processes, communicate across all functional areas and countless other experiences that gave me confidence to launch a new business. I’ve taken 30+ years of cross-functional experience to now help other companies find great talent through executive recruiting. My advice? Don’t shy from challenges…you never know where it will lead!
