Our 2022 event had no shortage of incredible speakers — 200 of them, to be exact! And as we started to shape our 2023 agenda, we wanted to make sure we included the speakers that really rose to the top for our attendees. We are still building our content and programming, but we’re excited to share four of our top speakers from the 2022 event are confirmed and returning for 2023!
Dan Gingiss, Author and Chief Experience Maker, The Experience Maker, LLC
CX is core to our content agenda, so we obviously had to bring back Dan Gingiss. So many of our attendees spotlighted his workshop as one of their favorite learning experiences from the event, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be doing another session with us for 2023. Even better news: due to attendee feedback, we’ve decided to extend our workshop day and increase the session times, too!
That’s right, in 2023, qualified brand and retailer attendees will be able to pre-register to get 90 minutes of deep learning and collaboration time with Dan, who is an accomplished author, podcaster and executive in the CX space. He takes his 20-year career of in-depth research and coaching experience and distills it all into actionable advice for our attendees. We can’t wait to see what value he brings to the program in the new year!
Rose Hamilton, Founder and CEO, Compass Rose Ventures
Rose Hamilton has a rich history in retail, holding executive roles at companies like the Vitamin Shoppe, Pet360, Inc., Ann Taylor and LOFT. Now, she’s dedicated to helping DTC retail and CPG brands find their paths to growth as CEO of Compass Rose Ventures. Our 2022 attendees loved her workshop on growth strategies and her trend-based session that kickstarted the DTC Innovation Forum.
For 2023, we’re thrilled to share she’ll be back again serving as the chairperson for the Forum! She’ll be the “emcee” for the sessions, offering her unique commentary on the landscape and what brands can do to differentiate and grow in an increasingly crowded space.
Phillip Jackson, Co-Founder, Future Commerce
Phillip Jackson is a podcaster, speaker, and Co-Founder of Future Commerce, a media startup focused on conscious commerce in the retail world. You may be a fan and avid reader of the Future Commerce newsletter, or maybe you’ve seen his hot takes on Twitter. Either way, you know Phillip has a way with words and a unique way of looking at the retail landscape.
He guided some fantastic panel sessions during the DTC Innovation Forum, two of our top-rated sessions, so we’re giving him some extra time on stage with a standalone session! He’ll be joining the Retail Innovation Summit to dig into the findings from Future Commerce’s VISIONS report and what the implications are for brands and retailers.
Brendan Witcher, VP and Principal Analyst, Forrester
If you’ve seen Brendan onstage at an event, you know that he always has a commanding presence and incredibly thought-provoking perspectives. He brought his unique flair to our stage as a moderator for our growth marketing panel featuring top marketing leaders. He also interviewed Antonio Nieves, CEO of the digital custom furniture brand Interior Define, and tapped his constant curiosity to dig into the brand’s business model and why it works so well.
For 2023, we’re shaking things up a bit and putting Brendan in the spotlight as he leads a standalone session on customer love: how to win it, and keep it, in an increasingly competitive climate. Brendan has done a lot of research in this area, and he will definitely have some new data to share with our attendees.
