Speaker submissions for the Retail Innovation Conference & Expo, scheduled for June 13-15, 2023 at McCormick Place in Chicago, are open until January 20, 2023.
We are in search of passionate (and opinionated) retail executives and industry experts to speak on our stage. As part of the Retail TouchPoints network of brands, we know that timely, relevant and helpful content is key. Our goal remains the same, to create highly targeted content experiences for different functions, but also create a diverse and lively epicenter for learning, collaborating and innovation for the entire retail industry.

What we’re looking for
- Fresh consumer insights and shopper data;
- Future-focused perspectives and deep dives into retail’s ongoing transformation;
- Controversial opinions and considerations on “buzzworthy” topics;
- Lessons learned and key takeaways from fast-growing and emerging brands; and
- Success stories and real-world case-studies from established brands that have evolved and thrived.
Diverse voices encouraged to apply
Societal blind spots and biases have led to disparities across every industry. As part of a growing commitment to dispel these gaps within the retail industry, we are intentionally broadening our speaking faculty. Our goal for the Retail Innovation Conference & Expo is to create an environment that provides equal access and opportunities for all. We want to amplify the stories and experiences of BIPOC (black, Indigenous and people of color) retailers, brands and executives. We also encourage submissions from racial, gender, sexual identity and ethnic minority, and people with disabilities to use our platforms across all channels.
What we don’t want
PLEASE NOTE: This is a promo-free zone, even more so for 2023. Please refrain from suggesting dated topics based on case studies that are more than a year old, recycling content that has been presented before, or using vendor solution-oriented topics that focus on how a specific vendor solution will solve a problem. Speaker decks are reviewed in advance to ensure promotional content is not present. Speakers and vendors who abuse our policies will not be invited back.
