We know you live, eat, sleep and breathe ecommerce and are always looking for fresh ways to generate leads, drive website traffic and build your brand online. But we also know many of you are eager to capitalize on the evolution and acceleration of the direct-to-consumer (DTC) movement. That’s why we’ve created…drumroll please…
The DTC Innovation Forum! Our goal is to showcase the unique trends, challenges and goals of DTC-focused brands, but also create a forum for others in the retail world to learn about the booming DTC space. Traditional CPG brands are shifting more towards DTC, (we’re looking at you, Pepsi), while DTC players are making moves and scaling offline! (oh, hey, All Birds, Bonobos, Fenty, etc.) With the DTC Innovation Forum, we’re breaking down the hottest topics for you and bringing in the most experienced leaders in the industry to help.
Spotlighting Our DTC Leader
To add a new feature into an already amazing, well-known event, we wanted to bring in the best of the best in the industry to lead it, which is why Rose Hamilton, CEO of Compass Rose Ventures LLC., will be chairing this fantastic new forum. As a digital and marketing executive and strategic advisor, Rose has over twenty years’ experience growing businesses and architecting omnichannel brands. Not to mention, she has built digital teams for both start-ups and Fortune 500 brands.
Let’s dig a little deeper, shall we?
Rose led strategy and managed teams in several direct-to-consumer businesses throughout her career. She served as Chief Digital and Direct to Consumer Officer for Nutrafol, and Chief Digital and Ecommerce Officer at The Vitamin Shoppe, where she was responsible for leading the digital customer experience, loyalty, omnichannel customer acquisition/retention and operating the direct-to-consumer business and call center.
And that’s not all…
Additionally, Rose was responsible for designing the omnichannel roadmap to leverage technology, educational content and customer data to reinvent the customer journey across all channels and touch points. Rose joined the Vitamin Shoppe from Pet360, Inc., a subsidiary of PetSmart, where she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager. During her time as CMO, she reinvented an ecommerce brand into a fully integrated digital commerce, community and media lifestyle experience. The business grew rapidly, doubling in size before its acquisition by PetSmart. Prior to her time at Pet360, Inc., Rose served as Vice President of Ecommerce for Ann Taylor and LOFT. Earlier in her career, she led marketing, merchandising and loyalty programs for a variety of leading retailers and financial services organizations, including Chico’s FAS, Best Buy, Wilsons Leather and US Bank.
