Repositioning and repurposing real estate is not a new concept, but re-creating the retail environment in a new consumer-oriented, omnichannel, culture-centric way may help revitalize consumer spending in a sustainable way. A new retail social space called “The Closet” combines the flexibility of the pop-up shop and the accessibility to brands in unexpected places outside of flagship stores. It is tailor-made for the new age of the consumer.

By redefining relationships through collaboration, brands, customers, marketers and landlords are realigning on the omnichannel experience. This session will offer an opportunity to learn and provoke disruption, featuring insights around:

  • Truths & Trend Insights: A look back at a decade of omnichannel retail and current relevance, focusing on disruption as opportunity;
  • Cultural Shifting Experience Design: How social responsibility, shared spaces and community-centric lifestyles are essential to brand survival;
  • Brand POV from ELEVENTY USA: Innovation challenges and success; and
  • The New Retail Social Space: The Closet is more than just a brand pop-up. It redefines the customer journey; is a showroom curated by the customer; offers sustainable shopping; and builds relationships beyond products by offering lifestyle choices.
